Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has admitted that he has been impressed with the performance of Christian Pulisic against Red Bull Salzburg. The USA international scored his first non-competitive goals for the club during the 5-3 friendly win over the Austrian champions and he was also able to win a penalty, which was converted by Ross Barkley.
Speaking after the game, Lampard spoke positively about the forward’s performance but stated that there is room for improvement with the greater demands of the Premier League, he said: "I was very impressed with the way that he took the goals. As a winger in the Premier League, he has to adapt to that league. He is young but with huge potential and I am happy for him."
